5 more weeks?

Hello!  I just returned from my 35 week appointment (well, after a pit stop for a milkshake and my mom's pool).  I am measuring 36 cm and after questioning the nurse midwife about how big she suspected our little (big) bundle of joy will be, she is guessing Eli will not be more than 9 lbs, maybe more in the high 8's and that he's pretty long.  WE'LL SEE.  I have a concern, because both Rob and I were large babes, me at 9 lbs 2 oz and Rob at 9 lbs 14 oz, and I wanted to be sure this kid wasn't on the fast track to being a 13 lb baby or something terrifying like that.  So, you can all remember those numbers and then see how little Eli compares.  The midwife also told me that if I was a big baby it is likely my body is more than capable of giving birth to a big baby.  I guess that's good?  From here on out I will go see a doctor or midwife every week until he is here, which will hopefully be by August 13.  But considering I'm late for literally everything, it stands to reason my offspring will be the same.
