I have to be honest about something: I am loving not having a job. I'm in my second week as an employed woman and I seriously feel so relaxed and like I am actually getting things done that I want to do. Well, to an extent. Exhaustion has really been kicking in the past couple weeks of this pregnancy and I have a feeling it's just the start of a tiresome summer. I generally take a 1-2 hour nap every day, when I can. It seems to help.
Example of awesome: today I cleaned the kitchen, living, and dining room as well as our bedroom and did three loads of laundry, and took a nap and it was still daylight after all of that. It was a great feeling.
Also, birthing class last night was not bad. It was two hours, from 7-9pm, and the first hour was just talking and following (ish) an outline and various handouts which was pretty much just like being in a disorganized college class and then the second hour was the stereotypical stuff you think about when you think birthing class as in we had mats and had to get down into various positions. Rob had to practice massaging me, hahahaha.
Well, now I am just watching Step Up 2: The Streets and not even feeling bad about it. Tomorrow (FINALLY) my dad is supposed to come over and get something done on the basement. I'm getting a little antsy because I have a huge desire to start fixing up the second bedroom for Eli. There is so much to do for that. My grandpa even gave me a vintage wardrobe that I can paint for his room! Speaking of Eli, I went a little crazy at Baby Gap the other day. I found all these super cute little things on the sale rack that ranged from 97 cents to 8 dollars that were originally between 20 and 40 dollars! It's nice because all the winter stuff is on super discount and it's the right size/season for Eli when he is 3-6 months. He's going to be a stylin' little babe.
