Crap, I am so tired I don't feel like writing about my life. Not really a loss this week.
So, HI MONTY*.
*aka Legion, Del Monty Peaches, etc etc
Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.

scattered thoughts for sunday.
+ First and foremost, I for real got to meet Lanna last night! Blog crush turned real life! Rob and I went and saw her husband, Matt, and our friend Kile's band The Waking Point at the Underground last night. They played with some other local bands, including A Wayward Heart, This Love, and Irela. All were very talented and it was a very good show start to finish which is sadly very unusual for the local music scene in Cincinnati.
+ My laptop passed on to the fiery underworld on Thursday night. That thing was literally a Satan-made piece of crap. NEVER BUY HP. Seriously guys. Don't do it
+ Luckily, my dear brother Jake recently purchased a new iPad and was willing to sell me his year-and-a-half old laptop for only $150!!!!!! So I instantly remedied my no-computer problem.
+ I am currently uploading all my music onto said laptop.
+ I'm also doing laundry (vom).
+ Later I plan on dragging Rob to Ikea.
+ The Appleseed Cast is playing in Columbus on May 1 and I AM SO GOING.
+ Frugal Chipmans is working out surprisingly well with little effort. I mean, we aren't actually being frugal. But we are managing to live pretty comfortably off of only Rob's income, which I honestly didn't think was going to happen.
+ Rob and I bought Sims 3 and have been playing it waaaaaaaaay too much. It's actually really embarrassing. On Friday we stayed up until THREE A.M. I am going to be paying for that one for days to come.
+ Warm weather, please come soon to say. I want to open up the house and feel fresh air all the time.
+ Sadly, that's all I can pull out of my little brain at the moment. I need a hobby.

back when i was an entrepreneur
I used to make friendship bracelets like nobody's business. Srsly. I was selling these things for a quarter a pop when I was twelve years old at a stand in front of my house (I lived on a cul-de-sac in the suburbs...needless to say, not much business). I still have like sixty bracelets left over from those days.
Tonight my I was at Urban Outfitters with a friend and I saw a basket of these things they were selling for six dollars apiece! What the! I guess I need to get back in the game!
P.S. I had to look up how to spell entrepreneur. It still doesn't look right.

my life is out of control.
That's not even really a joke.
I have been sooooooo exhausted this week. Losing an hour last Saturday/Sunday has literally destroyed my body. It's weird because I never remember suffering this much in past years. But I have had no energy to do anything this week. I haven't cooked. I haven't cleaned (see below). When I wake up, I feel like I haven't even slept. I have been late to work every single day because I just can't seem to get going in the morning. Well anyway, there is hard physical evidence to the fact that I am out of control of my life right now.
This is where I sit every day. This is MY chair. I eat in this chair. I use my laptop in this chair. I [attempt] to crochet in this chair...you get the picture. Well, this is what my chair looks like when I have failed to clean up after myself for an entire week.
Wow, I'm gross.
Sorry Rob.
I'll work on it tomorrow.

happy st. pat's day!
I'm going to be honest, I don't give a flying hoo-ha (?) about St. Patrick's Day. I'm not Irish and I don't like beer. I suppose there is some merit for celebrating the arrival of Christianity in Ireland? Maybe? I don't know. I'm not Catholic, either. But green is my favorite color, so I guess that's cool.
Anyway, when you work with kids you learn to make a big deal out of things that you would otherwise not make a big deal out of, and today little girl and I celebrated aforementioned holiday by decking out head to toe in green. And going outside alllllllllllllllll day because hello?! It was s e v e n t y degrees today! WIN.

Isn't she precious? The best part is obviously her robot shirt. Girl looooves robots.
So, HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY, in spite of myself.

scattered thoughts for sunday.
+ Losing an hour of sleep is beyond stupid. Springing forward better involve actual spring weather coming immediately.
+ Why am I such a frickin' invalid when it comes to crafts involving yarn?
+ I haven't done any laundry all weekend. Oops.
+ Newport Target opened a week ago and I have already been four times.
+ When I think about tomorrow being Monday, I literally want to cry.
+ Yesterday was my dad's birthday; we got him this.
+ Yesterday was our nephew's birthday party; he is one and very, very cute.
+ The Adjustment Bureau was a disappointing movie. I was hoping for a lot more Matt Damon badassery, and less wimpy love story. Not that I have problem with love stories, per se. I just have a problem with cheesy love stories that are stupidly unrealistic.
+ I am obsessed with Etsy. I want so many things I absolutely do not need.
+ Speaking of, I am on Etsy right now.
+ Tomorrow is my second attempt at healthy living after a two-week hiatus :)
+ Purchasing Rob Dragon Age II may have destroyed our marriage.
+ I really want to go to Atomic Number Ten in Over-the-Rhine. I have heard so many good things but I do not get out much. Haha.
+ Holy crap I need a nap.
+ Chipotle.

rainy days & chocolate cake
About today.
All I want to do is eat sugar.
Like, I can't get enough of it.
We had nothing immediately available tonight when I got home so instead of going without, I baked a cake. Yep, at 9:00 PM I baked a cake out of sheer desperation for a sugar fix.
Also, the rain.
Whatever, rain.
Whenever it rains, I want to listen to Moving Mountains. Really, I always want to listen to Moving Mountains. I love this band so much, you don't even know.
This band is one of two shows I have ever attended by myself. The first was Aqualung. I can't help it that I was obsessed with the song Strange and Beautiful. That ended up being solo because the guy I was dating at the time did not want to go (lame). Moving Mountains was solo because Rob had Capstone at the time (lame). Let me tell you, this band is the LOUDEST live band I have ever seen. It's okay though, because they rule.
